Recently, our parent company Unitrin, Inc. made the decision to change its name to Kemper Corporation. This was a strategic business decision primarily done to tie our companies more closely to a strong national brand like Kemper. This change became effective August 25th.
As a customer of United, Reliable, Union National or Mutual Savings the changes you see will be very minimal. Over time, you may notice small changes to our printed materials- business cards, premium receipt books, brochures, and of course, our website!
But, what is most important to mention at this time is what’s not changing relative to you as our customer:
- United, Reliable, Union National or Mutual Savings were not sold;
- Your policies were not sold or transferred and are still 100 percent backed by the same strong, stable organization;
- The personalized, great service you have come to expect will still be there each and every month and any time you need us;
- Our organization remains fully committed to our customers and will remain so in the years to come.
